DISCOUNTS

Student discounts are available to Serbian and foreign students – up to 15% on routes in Serbia and international routes.

When purchasing a student ticket, you must present one of the following documents (you do not need to present the documents when boarding a coach) :

  • A valid student report card (for students aged 27 or younger)
  • An ISIC or ETC Card 
  • A Confirmation of enrollment (stamped and not older than one year)

Student discounts are also available to primary and secondary school students -up to 15% on routes in Serbia and abroad.

When purchasing a this type of ticket, you must present one of the following documents:

50% discount on standard one-way tickets is available for children under six years of age. This discount is available on Nis-ekspres intercity routes in Serbia.

We offer a 15% group discount on routes in Serbia and international routes (North Macedonia and Montenegro during summer season) for groups of four or more people travelling together, provided that the tickets are purchased at the same time. This discount applies to both one way and return tickets (group members do not have to return together)

Tickets with group discount can be purchased at bus stations, ticket offices and travel agencies that sell tickets for Nis-ekspres services.

Grupni popust važi samo za polaske u zemlji, na polascima za Severnu Makedoniju i sezonske polaske za Crnu Goru.

15% discount is available for return tickets. The return tickets are valid for 90 days from date of purchase.

Passenger with disabilities

In Serbia, the privileges of disabled persons in passenger transport are defined by the Law on Privileges in Domestic Passenger Transport of Persons With Disabilities.

According to the law, persons entitled to these privileges are blind persons, persons with dystrophy and similar muscular and neuromuscular disorders, persons with cerebral and infantile palsy and any other form of plegia and persons with MS residing on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

These categories of passengers can purchase tickets at special fares (75% of the regular fare). One adult accompanying the person with disabilities can travel free of charge. Annually, they can travel six times using this privilege (one travel implies service to and from the chosen destination). In order to exercise this privilege, both the passenger with disabilities and the person travelling as escort, must present a special travel document issued by any of the associations of people suffering from the mentioned diseases.

According to the the Law on Basic Rights of Veterans, Military Invalids and Families of Killed Soldiers, military invalids travel free of charge. In order to exercise their right, they have to present a special travel document issued by the competent authority.

Povlastice za osobe sa invaliditetom

Prava osoba sa invaliditetom u prevozu reguliše Zakon o povlasticama u unutrašnjem putničkom saobraćaju invalidnih lica. Prema članu 1, pravo na povlastice u prevozu imaju: slepa lica, lica obolela od distrofije i srodnih mišićnih i neuromišićnih bolesti, plegija, cerebralne i dečje paralize i multiple skleroze sa prebivalištem u Republici Srbiji.

Zakonom je definisano da, u toku godine, osobe sa invaliditetom imaju pravo na šest putovanja sa povlasticama 75 posto od redovne cene. Jednim putovanjem se smatra vožnja u odlasku i u povratku, a pravo na povlasticu osoba sa invaliditetom ostvaruje na osnovu knjižice za povlašćenu vožnju koju izdaju savezi i društva obolelih od gore pobrojanih bolesti.

Pravo na povlašćenu cenu u prevozu imaju i njihovi pratioci. Pratilac invalidnog lica u drumskom saobraćaju ima pravo na besplatnu vožnju. Ako je pratilac invalidnog lica i sam invalid, on nema prava na povlasticu kao pratilac. Pravo na povlasticu pratilac invalidnog lica ostvaruje na osnovu objave za besplatnu vožnju koju izdaju savezi ili društva obolelih od navedenih bolesti.

I osobe sa invaliditetom i njihovi pratioci obavezni su da prodavcu karata ili voznom osoblju stave na uvid svoje knjižice jer su one javne isprave kojima se reguliše pravo na povlašćenu vožnju.

Vojni invalidi ostvaruju pravo na besplatnu vožnju na osnovu objave za besplatnu vožnju, a na osnovu zakona o osnovnim pravima boraca, vojnih invalida i porodicama palih boraca.

If you want to buy a ticket at our bus station, you can make a reservation in advance by sending us an email with the following information:

Only date and time specific tickets are considered to be valid. When purchasing a return ticket, you can confirm with the ticket agent the day and time of your return trip. If you are unsure of your return trip plans, you can purchase an open return ticket, but be sure you have validated it before departing.

You can validate your tickets at Nis-ekspres terminals, agencies and kiosks or ask the driver to validate it before boarding.

Unused tickets can be cancelled up to two hours before the scheduled departure. If the ticket hasn’t been used before you cancel it, we will refund the residual value of the ticket after deducting the administration fee (10% of the ticket price). If the outward part of a return ticket has been used, we will refund the price of the unused portion of the ticket minus the administration fee.

Tickets purchased at Nis-ekspres bus stations or ticket offices

You can cancel your tickets purchased at Nis-ekspres bus station ticket office and apply for a refund:

  • In person at Nis-ekspres bus station where you must present the following documents:

  • a copy of your debit/credit card

Ukoliko zahtev podnesete u poslovnicama Niš-ekspresa, povraćaj novca vrši se uplatom na tvoj tekući račun ili poštom.

If you decide to apply for a refund by sending us a letter, please note that we must have your application up to two hours before the scheduled departure. In the letter, please state that you want to cancel your ticket and enclose the following documents:

  • original ticket(s)
  • a copy of your ID card (if your ID card is not chipped) or a copy of printed data from your ID card (if your ID card is chipped)
  • a copy of your debit/credit card

Please note that we cannot complete the process of refund unless we receive the original ticket.

You must send the original ticket by post to Nis-ekspres DOO, Stevana Sindjelica 59, 18000 Nis, Serbia within 15 days of cancellation. Please note that we cannot complete the process of refund unless we receive the original ticket. 

Tickets purchased online

You can cancel your online ticket and apply for a refund:

  • 1. In person at Nis-ekspres ticket offices where you must present your online ticket printed

In the email, please state that you want to cancel your ticket.

 If you decide to apply for a refund by email, please note that we must have your email application up to two hours before the scheduled departure. After your refund request has been processed and approved, the refund money is sent to your bank account – the account you used to pay for your online ticket.

Niš ekspres neće refundirati sredstva za izgubljene, ukradene ili oštećene karte.
